The teacher adopted life-based teaching style, use Korean internet to teach Korean, which allowed students to learn in a happy time. The teacher’s teaching focused on pronunciation of vowels and consonants, recognizing letters, and spelling words and sentences with simple letters. Interesting teaching methods allowed students to participate in Korean learning and have a positive learning attitude.
Basic Korean communication between students-students and students-teachers was integrated in the course, which improved students’ communication and expression skills. Through assignments from the teacher, students got an opportunity to learn by oneself and to review the part that is not well understood at home in order to deepen the impression; So as to improve students’ self-learning ability and Korean learning positivity.
Students’ interests of learning Korean were increased by innovative teaching from the teacher. The teacher specially set a teaching direction for Korean basic learners, adopted life-styled Korean as a teaching core in general. Students were able to learn Korean during daily life, what they learned were more useful and also it increased students’ confidence and students would have a better expectation of learning Korean.
Students in Taiwan got an opportunity to have a look at others’ culture and broad and profound of languages in this course. In addition to increasing students’ cultural connotation, it also widened students’ knowledge in the future employment. By enriching oneself in the student stage, it improved students’ employability in every aspect and students will also be able to compete in the future workplace.
