Department of Chinese Language and Literature opened a calligraphy class and spared no effort in the promotion of calligraphy education, combining this advantage, the center opened a “Calligraphy Class for Foreign Students” to encourage students to create calligraphy works. This class could deepen foreign students’ ability of Chinese characters writing, improve understanding of Chinese calligraphy art, and achieve learning effect with copy painting of common used words. At the end of the course, foreign students published the results of the study in a calligraphy exhibition.
